In
the dog world I am a relatively new breeder. Like
many people I know, my first encounter with a Brussels
Griffon was watching the movie “As Good As It gets”
with Jack Nicholson and Helen Hunt. Little Verdell
captured my heart and after that I spent many years
doing research on the breed and I was lucky enough
to obtain my first beautiful male pup from Marjorie
Blackman. Matisse as we call him, or CH Manitoba’s
Talented Mr. Ripley, is a true Griff. Full of energy,
mischief, and very comical. He is also loving and
a big part of our family.
A couple of years later, Cheyanne came into our lives.
Again Marjorie has given us a real gem. Earning her
title CH Manitoba’s Cheyanne Show Off, she is a tiny
Griff with a huge heart and lots of attitude and the
basis of my breeding program. She has produced some beautiful puppies for us. We look forward to showing her best to Championship.
Our dogs are a huge part of our life and all of them have wonderful dispositions.
We breed to show and to improve the standard and to
produce healthy, home raised, Brussels Griffons with
fine temperaments. We may have one litter per year because we take the time to give our pups love and attention as well as training. Our puppies are sold with a spayed/ neutered contract. Occassionally we will have Show pups and they will go to approved breeders..
